Question:
How do you make places on the world map in RPG Maker Fes that you can't walk over?

Answer:

When you edit the Map Chips of your map, collisions are setup automatically. Places like water or mountains, once placed on the map, can’t be passed over during the game.

But what about other places like trees or towns? When you place these map chips on the map, you can automatically pass over them. What if you don't want this to happen? In this case, you'll need to setup the collisions yourself!

Make sure you are in the "Edit Event" section of the map where you want to place new collisions. Tap the touch screen or press A at the spot where you want to have the place that you can’t pass over. Select "Create event." The only thing you need to do in this event is uncheck "Walk in place."

Go back to the map and test this map. If everything works out, you should not be able to pass over the event block you set! Good job!

If you need to put multiple blockers like this, tap the event and select "Copy." Then you can tap the touch screen (or use a combination of the D-pad and A Button) to place copies of that blocking event. Press B when you're done. You can even select "Copy to other map" to place these blockers on other world maps you need! Cool!
